A successful meeting yesterday!

Hello everyone! Thanks so much to those of you who attended our first in-person meeting yesterday! We had a fabulout turnout. It was great to meet everyone, and we are looking forward to our next meeting (time and date TBD).

Two things we agreed we would like all like to focus on most were:

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)/Online Promoting, and
PHOTOS!

There are great tips in here. I have not read it yet but am reading it now, and if you haven't, you should! Let's all check it out and see what we can do to make sure our shops and items are as visible as possible to the search engines. We will continue to look for information and provide tips and tricks on this topic, as it is an ongoing challenge.

Regarding photos, Malea has a friend who is a photographer. She is going to ask her friend if she would be willing to do a consultation/training session with us so that we can all learn how to take better photos. Great photos are one of the golden keys to Etsy success, so we're looking forward to this.

New Member/Meeting Reminder for Tomorrow

Hey everybody! We have a new member- Christine. She has two shops, Christine's Jewelry Box and Louie Dog's Boutique. Welcome!

Also, a reminder that our first in-person meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday October 22nd at 7 pm at Peet's Coffee and Tea. The address is 1441 Howe Ave. in Sacramento.

If you can't make it tomorrow, don't worry. We will schedule other meetings on different days and times to try to accommodate more members.

If you are attending, please wear orange if you have any so we can identify each other. I will bring nametags. If you want to secure a booth for the Dec. 5th craft faire, please bring $25 cash or a check written to "Regency Park Elementary School". Let me know if you have any questions. Otherwise, see you there!

In-person meet-up: Weigh in!

Hello all- as Rhonda suggested, we need to get together. I would specifically like to pick a day/time that people who are interested in the Dec. 5th Craft Faire can attend, because I need to collect checks/cash for the $25 booth fee in person and deliver them to the PTA at Regency Park Elementary School.

What about Sundays? Does Sunday not work for anyone in particular? If there is a date or time that is best or off-limits for you, please post it in a comment here so I can figure something out. Thanks!
